Our cetacean outings in Guadeloupe:
Our cetacean trips :
Departing from the pontoon of Malendure beach (Municipality of Bouillante), embark in a small group (12 max passengers) with Cetacean Adventure, and go to sea to discover the marine mammals that frequent the warm waters of Guadeloupe.
For safety reasons, children are accepted on board from 2 years.
Our cetacean outings are supervised by a captain, passionate and respectful of animals, signataire de la charte de pratique raisonnée d’observation des cétacés dans le AGOA shrine (Marine protected area for marine mammals in the French Antilles, over 140 000 km², including Martinique, the Guadeloupe, Saint-Martin and Saint-Barthélémy).
Pantropical spotted dolphin, Fraser's dolphin, Bottlenose dolphin, Sperm whale, Globicephaly, Humpback whale ... more than twenty species of cetaceans have been recorded in the French West Indies and are observable throughout the year.
Les baleines à bosse sillonnent les côtes Guadeloupéennes de janvier à mai avec un pic de fréquentation de mars à avril.
Vous aurez également la chance d’observer d’autres espèces animales telles que poissons, turtles, oiseaux
During our sea excursions, nous utilisons un hydrophone de qualité qui permet d’optimiser les chances de trouver les cétacés, and also allows all passengers to listen to the sounds (clicks, sifflements, chants…
Our course at sea is studied according to the particularities of the seabed of the Leeward coast of Guadeloupe and the habits of cetaceans.
The cetaceans that we observe are wild animals that evolve in a very vast natural environment.
We are implementing research techniques that respect marine mammals, but you have to understand that it is they who decide to show themselves to us, et parfois, it may happen that we do not see them.
In that case, no refund can be made.
