DIAGNOSTIC ELECTRICITE

WHAT THERE IS TO KNOW :

Depuis le 1er Janvier 2009, an Electrical Diagnosis must be carried out on the occasion of the sale of all or part of a property for residential use when the electrical installation has been carried out for more than 15 years (article L 134-7 of the Construction and Housing Code). This diagnosis shows the electrical installation and must date from less than 3 years. It must be attached to the technical diagnostics file when signing.

THE OBJECTIVES OF ELECTRICITY DIAGNOSIS :

The FD C standard 16-600 replaced the XP C standard 16-600, et est applicable depuis le 1er Janvier 2016. Several changes in the diagnostic objective, details of the report and findings, as well as the methodology of the diagnosis were pronounced. However, the main purpose of electrical diagnostics is always to control, to analyze and identify any risk likely to present a danger to others.

WHAT IS CONTROLLED :

This diagnosis is carried out by a certified diagnostician (SARL DECI, for example), on the entire private electrical installation of the premises for residential use and their outbuildings. He checks the condition of the indoor electrical installation by checking several criteria :

  • The presence of overcurrent protection devices.
  • The presence of a general control and protection device.
  • The absence of all electrical equipment presenting risks (bare wires, unsuitable or obsolete equipment).
  • The presence of at least one differential protection device suitable for the asset.
  • The presence of the earth.
  • DC voltage between bare conductors.
